"Wish life was simpler?"
Sounds familiar? Ever wondered why more often than not we torture ourselves by questioning the obvious?
Well, the truth is, Life is tough. Every day of your existence is tough, and guess what? it only gets tougher from here on.
But let's not bother ourselves by worrying about the inevitable. Seeking answers to an obvious question is no fun.
Lets take a moment out of our progressively ageing life and smile, coz its never the end.
However bizzare a thought it may be, but seriously, ever wondered what reverse living would be like?
Life takes up all your time worrying, planning, working hard, all your weekends only to realize that you are old, haggered, grey-headed (bald for some) looking straight in the eye of your most covetted lifetime achievement award-DEATH. Great isn't it??
I think life should be reversed.
Your should die first, and get it out of the way. Whoever needs an "I dont know what death is" award??
Then, living for the next 20 something years in an oldage home isn't a bad idea afterall. Look at similarities between people around you and poke fun at them. Experience lonliness-the unknown evil for the first time. Spend endless hours staring into nothing, knitting, researching on fancy age-miracle creams to fight those twisted wrinkles. Enjoy the luxury of someone showing you around on a wheelchair. Flaunt your senior citizen card everyhwere you go. Enjoy the free bus rides and an always empty priviledged seat in a ready-to-burst train. But remember, you're always gonna tell your mates "life's only getting better."
You can't possibly enjoy freebies forever. You get kicked out of the oldage home once you have a flawless wrinkle-free skin, and you no longer complain of oesteoporosis. You wear a formal suit with a gold watch and go to work. Yes!!! You are employed!!! Begin to enjoy the grind. The anti-aeging creams have worked wonders for you. Enjoy your life with a sure and steady intake of Vitamin M- oh come on!!! its money honey!!! For once this vitamin does not come with a statutory warning "an overdose can have hazardous effects." Infact, how do you stop yourself from having that perfectly tailored Versace suit? those I-need-it-now Jimmy choos? you definatley cannot do without a Chanel bag to carry the Vitamin M right? and ofcourse, a few accessories from Louis Vuitton doesn't hurt. As a matter of fact...it never hurts!!! Compete in the rat race, don't feel bad if you lose it. Before you realize it, you'll be fired for being too young.
Go back to school. Cherish that pricless gradutaion moment. Live through the notalgic graduation speech, even if you hated school Trust me, for that one moment, you would do anything to enroll for classes all over again. It has that effect on everybody. Wear your university sweatshirt proudly even if you are no longer a student. Enjoy your rebellious teen years when you thought you knew it all and looked drop-dead gorgeous. Battle your hormones (forgive them, they are confused for god sake!) and massage your ego by assuming you made the difference! Be proud of your first crush and smile when its crushed. Fall in love, have a few heart breaks, and most importantly, dont forget to break a few hearts too. Party like there's no tommorrow. Studies??? Whats that??? Grades??? I know how its spelt! Spoil yourself silly on your first date, afterall u've slogged your backside off. However awkward you look, contend for the prom king/queen. Who knows, you might be the bestest among the awkwardest! And an award for that??? wow...now thats a real award! Just when you thought you can't handle the adrenaline rush-you retire.
Your become a little boy or a girl and hold your breath....you have NO responsibilities. yay! Does that make you smile cheek to cheek? Dress in a pretty pink dress or a blue tee. Enjoy your cheeks being pulled by every other person and your face being mutilated with wet kisses. Accept "cute" as a part of your existence. Invest in barbies and batmans. You have the most stress-free living...smile!
You finally go back into the womb and spend your last nine months floating.
And you finish off as a gleam in someones eye.
Wonder why life wasn't reverse afterall, right?

wow...its really interesting...good topic to start off in your blog...really dont believe you have written this..its excellent...keep it up.Am really proud of you.
Well, I dont agree to it, as much. It all depends on how you look at life. You want to make it seem like a race, well you can do that. You want to make it look like " u want this, u want that" u can do that. u can mold your life as you want. Some people might agree some might not, but, my way of looking at life is to live "Simple" and achieve as much as you can. Because if you expect for something, once you achieve it, u ll want more of something else and the greed increases and never stops. Simplicity in life solves all the complexity. Then at the end even death will be a reward.
you actually spent time writing this.... i heard about this before... dont know where. the best idea is you work first, make money, and no responsiblities, good health to travel and enjoy.
if u go back to the womb at the end... how were you born? just a thought

that was wonderful..had a great time reading it. very interesting thought..wish life was actually like this..getting over with the unpleasant parts at the beginning itself!
Very interesting blog, I must say - more entertaining than thought provoking. It made me smile a lot as I was reading. Does it offer practical advise on how to simplify your life? Not at all! How does one simplify one's life, then? Well, I am not quite sure, but seems to me that finding joy in doing simple things would be a great start.
